2nd Full Album 'Waraukado ni wa Fuku Kitaru' (February 14th 2024)

The title and release date for SHACHI's second full album was announced today, and the official website was launched: https://teamshachi.nagoya/laughandwear/

The official title is Waraukado ni wa Fuku Kitaru (笑う門には服着る) and the release date is February 14th 2024.

The title is a play on a Japanese proverb 笑う門には福来る (Good fortune and happiness will come to the home of those who smile). In this case, TEAM SHACHI have replaced the kanji for 'good fortune' 福, with the kanji for clothes - 服 (same reading) and the kanji for come - 来る, with the kanji for wear - 着る.

Some additional details have been revealed about the album:

The M-Card version will be sold for ￥3,000 in 10 variants and will contain a link to a digital copy of the album, containing 11 songs:

Buchopa
Edome
Kunsho
Neo Shuto iten keikaku
Wakikyoku
and 6 new songs for 11 songs in total

The 2CD + 1 Blu-Ray version will be sold for ￥19,800, exclusively on TEAM SHACHI's merchandize website in 4 variants - 1 for each member.

The first CD will contain the same 11 songs as the M-Card.

The second 2 CD will contain audio recordings of the songs performed at the SHACHI SUMMER 2023 concert.

The Blu-Ray will contain the SHACHI SUMMER 2023 concert.

A 32-page photobook measuring 314x314 mm will also be included, as well as a photo hanger of the TEAM SHACHI member for your variant of choice.

The product codes for the '2CD + 1 Blu-Ray' version are non-sequential: SDPC-1041, SDPC-1043, SDPC-1045, and SDPC-1047, which makes me think that there will be other versions, which will be announced at a later date.

TEAM SHACHI's new song 'Otonari-san' (おとなりさん) from their upcoming album will debut tonight at midnight.

Apparently, they've performed 4 new songs at their sold-out concert in Mie today. One of the new songs uses microphone stands for the choreography.

Edit: Yuzuki confirmed on Yuzuki no heya that it was 3 songs, including Otonari-san. It seems that some people who attended the concert thought that 'Owari no hana' was a new song.

The MV for Otonari-san will premiere this Friday. And if the teaser is any indication, it might also be TEAM SHACHI's first MV in 4K:
