Nao has tested positive for Covid-19. The other members have no symptoms, but since they are being treated as having been in close contact with Nao, are under quarantine until February 8th.

The Sanrio Puroland concerts this weekend have been canceled, as well as the first concert from TEAM SHACHI's upcoming national tour.

Maybe they'll reschedule it for after the tour.

I think it's very likely that the second Nagoya concert from the tour is gonna be live-streamed somewhere as it will celebrate their 10th anniversary and they mentioned it's going to be special.

Nao's throat has not fully recovered from covid, so she will miss the concert on 12th February. Yuzuki, Honoka, and Haruna will all perform.

According to Honoka's instagram the 10th anniversary concert on the 9th has sold out. Fingers crossed, the 10th sells out as well and they stream at least one of the 2 concerts!

In August of this year TEAM SHACHI will graduate from their record label unBORDE and start their own independent record label.

TEAM SHACHIからご案内です。

この度、ワーナーミュージック内レーベルのunBORDEを卒業、8月から新たに自主レーベルを発足して走り出すことにいたしました。
ワーナーミュージックさんとは、前身グループであるチームしゃちほこが本格的に活動を始める2012年4月の”名古屋城路上デビュー”の段階から名古屋まで足を運んでくださったり、その後も”名古屋メジャーデビュー”に”日本先行メジャーデビュー”、チームしゃちほこからTEAM SHACHIへ改名して”ライブデビュー”と何度もデビューを重ねながら（？）、共にグループの歴史を歩んできた10年間でした。

今までお世話になった沢山のスタッフのみなさんが新しい道をそれぞれ歩み始めている中で、グループとしても活動10周年という節目になり、更に活動をパワフルなものにすべく決断いたしました。
「楽しい。やりたい。」と思うことを沢山実行できるチーム作りを心がけてまいります。

レーベル名をはじめ、今後のリリースやイベント予定、活動目標などは改めて発表してまいります。
TEAM SHACHIを応援してくださっているタフ民のみなさま、そしてこれからTEAM SHACHIのことを好きになってくださるみなさまと一緒に、楽しいこと、ワクワクすることをたくさん共有できる日を楽しみにしております。

TEAM SHACHI have already announced their first two concerts for 2023:

January 28th at Zepp Nagoya (capacity: 1,864)
February 25th at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo (capacity: 1,956)

Haru has tested positive for covid. The other 3 members have done PCR tests as well and have come back with negative results. The current plan is that the SHACHI SUMMER concert this Sunday will continue as planned without Haru.

Slight correction: the other 3 members have received negative antigen tests, and are waiting for results from their PCR tests which will be available tomorrow.

Honoka and Yuzuki have fever and have now both tested positive for covid. The SHACHI SUMMER concert has been postponed likely until the Autumn of this year.

The OVER THE HORIZON Hacha Mecha Pacifico concert will be shown on YouTube tomorrow. Before that Nao will make the announcements that were planned for the SHACHI SUMMER concert (fingers crossed - 2nd single announcement).

Yuzuki, Honoka, and Haruna have all recovered from covid and will resume activities from tomorrow.

TEAM SHACHI were in the studio today recording new songs (according to their Twitter and Instagram accounts)

The new song will debut at the Live Natalie on 21st August. There will be further information and announcements with regards to the new label on 27th August.

TEAM SHACHI's new song is called 舞頂破 (maichoha? buchoha?) No idea what it means, or if that is even the correct reading.

It was performed at the Live Natalie concert today, which unfortunately was not streamed. According to their official Twitter account, we will find out more about the song during a YouTube live stream scheduled for Saturday 27th August 20:00JST.

According to Yuzuki, it's a very intense song with a lot of energy. (They also mentioned in an interview a couple weeks ago that it's a song Nao would like and Nao is a bit of a metalhead.)

I wonder if they will perform it at @JAM next Saturday...

Then again, I've seen no indication that @JAM will be streamed this year, but I could be wrong.

The correct pronunciation of TEAM SHACHI's new song is "Buchopa" (confirmed on Yuzuki no heya today).
